I have a HFG10 which works flawlessly but the touch panel just stopped working. Not sure what to do

My touch panel on my HFG10 just stopped working. The camera still works fine but the only way I can change the settings is with the remote and I know its only a matter of time before I lose that. Any feedback would be appreciated thank you.

At this point, your HF G10 will need to be serviced.  To start the repair process, you'll need to complete a Repair Request on our website.

Mike, I am gonna have to look up when I bought it. What does something like this cost? I had to have my previous Canon replaced to due manufactures issues and really dont want to have to pay for something for this one now. Thank you for the response.
