Also can I switch out 8 GB cards for memory card A but use a 32 and continue recording for memory card B?

Hi, jessicawaller!

So that the Community can help you better, we will need to know exactly which Canon camcorder model you're using. That, and any other details you'd like to give will help the Community better understand your issue!

If this is a time-sensitive matter, our US-based technical support team is standing by, ready to help 24/7 via Email at http://bit.ly/ContactCanon or by phone at 1-800-OK-CANON (1-800-652-2666) weekdays between 10 AM and 10 PM ET (7 AM to 7 PM PT).

Thanks and have a great day!

Sorry just saw this. The easy answer is you can mix and match cards in the SD slots. 64 in A, 32 in B, etc. As far as recording time, it will depend on the card size, as you probably knew, but also the quality setting (FXP, MXP, etc). Here is the chart from the G10, but the G20 and 30 are all the same.Screen Shot 2016-05-01 at 3.55.04 PM.png
