Hello, I was wondering if anyone could help me shine some light onto wether anyone has had any success using the direct copy to USB HDD feature of the camcorder with a USB 3.0 HDD?
I have a USB 3.0 drive, and have it powered via a separate power connection (not using the bus power of the USB port) and I have not had any success with any drives that I have tried to get working. I'm finding that locating USB 2.0 portable HDD's are becoming more and more difficult to find, and was wondering if anyone had any success in attempts to use a USB 3.0 connection with the camcorder.
Thanks!

I just posted here asking if anyone ever burns BD direct from the camera, mine is the HF M50. The instruction book says on page 155 that it can be done using usb 2. I don't know about usb 3.
