I have finally decided to sell my old dead EX1Hi (great camera for the many years it worked) but there is a tape in it. Is there any way that I can eject the tape with no power to the unit?
Thanks in advance.

Thanks, shadowsports. Though it’s not the answer I had hoped for, it was what I suspected I would hear. So, get out the crowbar and sledge hammer . . .

I forgot to add that this is the PAL version of the L1 NTSC camcorder.
