Mine will print a .pdf document (text) but will not print text from other applications so I know it's not a cartridge problem. It must be a software problem possible with iMacs.
After trying all of the tests, I went back to the printer utility and selected Deep Cleaning - and then cleaned only the PGBK. So far so good - I did use up all of the ink performing yet another deep clean - it uses a lot of ink to perform that task...
Did you find an answer to your problem? Mine just started doing the same thing - and of course I just purchased new ink cartridges, so I'll be out that amount if the problem isn't solved.
