7D Mark II main dial does not adjust the aperture

In manual mode my 7D Mark II main dial does not adjust the aperture, the LCD displays "L". I have to go into the quick settings menu to change.

I am running Windows 10. Doing this and reconnecting the wireless settings using WPS on my router finally worked.

I followed this process step by step and the same error continues to appear
7D Mark II main dial does not adjust aperture
