My canon 50mm f/1.8 stm is not autofocusing anymore on my canon 6d, it only works in manual mode now.What could be the problem?

But i have not tried the 50mm f/1.8 stm lens on another camera,

I used a 40mm f/2.8 stm on the camera and it worked perfectly.
