How do I fix a 5100 printer error on a PIXMA MX432?

I need to fix a 5100 error code on my PIXMA MX 432 printer.  I had a paper jam which I removed by opening the underside of  the printer.  I then found a 5100 error when I turned the printer back on.  Help!
