Is it possible to scan to an iPad Pro from a MX922

I have a MX922. I can print from my iPad but I want to scan from and to. Is that possible with the MX922 PIXMA Canon printer?

For everyone"s info, I have downloaded the Canon app and now happily scan from my iPad from two printers as quick as if it was from a computer. I can scan photo or document with multi pages....really nice.....thanks.
