Printer not responding - MG5520 will scan to PC but will not print.

I've setup the MG5520 loading the latest software from Canon website. I can scan from the printer to the PC so there is a working connection but when I try to print I receive teh error message "printer not responding." OS: Windows 7.
No replies to display.
