My Canoscan 9000f doesn't work with either my MacBook running OSX 10.4 Tiger, or my PC on Windows 7.

The "on" button lights up, but nothing happens when the other buttons are pressed. No preview scan happens on PC, and No sign of life whatsoever on Mac. Any suggestions? Thanks!
