I would either call Canon Tech Support (they are great) or return it to the merchant. 

Just noticed today the Canon EOS R price has been drastically reduced to $1499.  That'a lot of camera for a fair price. 

  A few sample photos using the Canon EOS R.  Please keep in mind these were taken during the first 2 weeks that I owned the camera.  I'll still dicovering features. 

It's probably safe to say that all the replies thus far are from folks that do not own the EOS R nor have they tried it.  These folks aare very, very knowledgeable, but keep in mind they do not own a EOS R. About 6 week ago I purchased the EOS R and ...
