Hi ivesrussel, I had the same problem, until I found out that there are new drivers. I think I found them on the Canon website.After installing them I had no problem. Hope that helps.

Thanks for replying, but that does not help at all. What's the use of a forum if you are going to send me elsewhere?I cannot believe that a simple thing like this needs the help of a dealer.Not an accepted solution.

Actually, I don't think I am experiencing any downsides from it. Printing seems to be fine with the option greyed out.
