interesting, it only shows this icon in auto mode, and its right away as soon as I turn the camera on, i hve not take any photos to get it hot, the camera is room temp, and no fan grip that will be here tomorrow

Mike, this lens date code on the mounting ring area is US0707, do I understand by looking at this number it was built for the US in july of 2007 = it's 18 years old ? is this right.
