EOS R5 Mark II - aperture control

Hello, I am using RF 24 - 240 lens with my camera. The control ring does not change aperture when Pre-cont. shooting is enabled. It works otherwise. I am using FV mode. Wondering if this is a software bug. Have anyone else faced this issue?

Thank you for your quick response. The problem, however goes away as soon as I turn the pre-cont. off. No other settings touched.
