Why won't the serial no. work? why is the combo box dysfunctional?  Is Canon always this screwed up??

This is idiotic!!  It's 2024 and I can't install drivers for an MF269dw???  Why can't I find a way to get around the bug that wants me to log in as an admin???  I AM AN ADMIN.  Win 11 Pro.  I've burned over an hour on this and I NEED TO USE THE PRINT...
