I just downloaded the latest firmware and now my camera won’t even turn on. Battery is a canon battery fully charged…tried a few times. Tried taking out my SD cards. Still no power and it is blank. Please help!
I heard there were issues through a canon group I follow. This was the 2nd firmware update I did on the camera. Yes, updating the firmware is important that’s why I did it, but I waited because I heard there were issues and was hoping maybe the issue...
Not something I want to hear. I knew I shouldn’t have updated it. I heard there were issues. Winter sports season just ramped up and I have a senior so now I can’t use my camera that’s less than a year old.
I used the canon app to download the new firmware. I honestly don’t remember what version it was. It was a pop up that prompted me to download it. It was 2 days ago.
