Canon Community

Any suggestions on a fixed camera to use as a stationary drummer camera with similar image characteristics to the CR-N300?  Ideally something in the $500 range.

Loving that Canon included an auto-tracking function but the lite version is unnecessarily crippled IMO.  I'd even be happy with a 2 tier paid license, like a basic/pro.  Basic could enable sensitivity, auto-zoom, display size and silhouette position...
