I changed the black cartridge but forgot to take the tape off of the open hole at the top.  It says I cannot change the cartridge until the ink runs out.  The ink is not being released.  How do I get the black cartridge to come to position to take it...

I have the Canon MB 2720 Maxify.  How do I change the black ink cartridge when it is not out of ink?  I left the tape on it and installed it.  Now it won't print black but will also not let me pull out the full cartridge so I can take off the tape an...
