Pixma g6020 error message light is on and display screen says canon. Printer is not responding.

Pixma g6020 printer all of sudden stopped working. Error light is on even when the printer is turned off. The display screen says canon but no error message. I have unplugged the computer, turned back on and no response. Any ideas?
