Canon Community

Is the Canon T6s still a good camera for an amateur. I shoot mostly wildlife and birds. I'm thinking of buying a Tamron 18-400mm lens for it.

I have a Canon T6s with a Tamron 18-200mm lens. I would like to get a teleconverter for it, but I don't know which one to get. I mainly shoot wildlife and birds. Which one is better for this? I really can not afford a 500mm lens and up right now. 

 I have a Tamron 18-200mm f/3.5-6.3 DI-II VC AF lens that I'm using with my Canon T6s. The lens has a small nick off center. Would this have any effect on the focusing? It doesn't show up in any of the photos I've taken, but it sometimes struggles to...
