Mac mini and canscan 9000 MarkII - Won't Recognize

I am struggling with my new MAC mini M2 recognizing the 9000 mark II. Do you have any suggestions for a solution?

i am having the same issue. i moved my mark II scanner off the a iMac laptop to a MAC mini M2. is there any discussion about updating a driver for the Mac mini? or do i need to buy a new scanner? If I do, it will not be a Canon.
