EOS 6D USB problems

USB port on my 6D quit working. Anyone else have this problem? Suggestions for a fix before I send it off for repairs?

Thanks for the quick reply. That fixed the problem and saved me an expensive repair bill.

I am using a Promote Control to shoot HDR. The device was not recognizing the USB connection.
