PIXMA iX6820 Unable to Launch Setup

Hello! Can someone please help me figure out how to connect my printer to a macbook computer? I have tried, and still have not figured out how to do it. Help is appreciated.

I did mean a pixma iX6820. The version is a 11.7.3. I downloaded the installation, but I cannot open the set up disk in the file.
