Color Laser printer, model MF656Cdw, less than a year old, is making a whirring/grinding noise when printing.  It gets louder as the paper is being processed, then becomes somewhat softer as it nears the end.  I have an MP3 audio recording of it, but...

The indicator for ink on the printer panel shows a "?" (question mark) by the yellow cartridge.  I printed a test pattern and the yellow is very weak, so it probably needs to be replaced.  When I open the front door to the cartridges, they remain off...
