I was working with the moderator on a solution. She's disappeared now and I have THREE Canon printers with issues(two of them with the infamous message that we're all seeing)
Based on Canon's "speedy" response to this printhead issue I think it's safe to safe that they aren't too keen on servicing customers INSIDE the US as well...
I have tried it four times since I got the error. No luck. I hope this happen doesn't befall my MX860 as well. I noticed that this seems to happen with a few models(based on other posts that I have read.)
I am having the same problem with my MX700. Somewhere on this board they recommended the same procedure but after trying it four times I still have thwe same problem - a device I can not use. I hope this doesn't happen with my MX860 as well.
