MX492 Loud clicking sound while printing then it jams

Can anyone suggest anything to fix this? Or is is just time for a new printer? Thanks

Did you know that Canon charges $20 for you to talk to someone there!? Ridiculous. I"ve tried adusting the ink, no paper stuck and I cleaned the encoder strip. still knocking.
