IJ Scan Utility 2 reports "Cannot communicate with scanner". That utility does select the scanner, so it knows it's there. I just reinstalled the scan utility.
Everything seems fine. Avery sheet loaded upside down. Printer says it has detected paper is aligned to one side. Well, the guide is as snug as it can be. So why won't it print? Error 2102
I have exactly the same problem. Since my Mac can print to the MX532, it appears that both devices are working and communicating. The problem with scanning must be a Canon issue.
Update: I was finally able to "get" a photo printed this way: when the printer began trying to load paper, I pushed the photo paper in, very lightly. I could hear clicks and finally it grabbed the paper and printed properly. I consider this just a wo...
