Does the black screen mean the shutter isn't working? No image because the shutter didn't open?

Below I have posted screenshots of the images. The FlashCard has three images so the camera thinks it is taking a photo but it looks as if no image is recorded (all black) when the shutter snaps. Entirely possible i guess.

I received my new flashcard reader today. It appears that the card is properly formated and ok. There are three images on the card (with an image size of 125kb - which I think indicates no real image). I've taken some screenshots of what I see.

Good question. While I have a USB card reader, it reads everything except the large FlashCards...howerver, I just.ordered a FlashCard reader, which will be here Tuesday...then I can answer your question. Since the flashcard is only 128 MB, I also ord...
