How do I run 2 mics into the Canon Vixia HF R800? Has anyone tried this and succeeded? Please tell me how you did it.

Thanks, Rodger. I’ll get a 3.5mm stereo y cord (male with two female jacks) at Best Buy or Walmart.

Great info, Rodger. So, if the y cord works, I won’t need a mixer? I suppose my 2 USB mics won’t work in the y cord scenario, right?

Thanks, Rodger. Can you suggest an ideal lower cost alternative for mixer and mics? Does the sound from the two mics run through the mixer and into a single audio track?
