CANON EOS 30D and Utility V3 - CAMERA NOT REOGNIZED

Hi, I recently downloaded EOS Utility 3. Whenever I connect my CANON EOS 30D onto my MAC and open the EOS Utilty 3 - it says "camera not recognized". How do I fix this? Thank you
