Message 'Ending Please wait momentarily TR 8550

For no obvious reason my TR 8550 gives this message on the screenMessage 'Ending Please wait momentarilyI cannot get rid of this message, the only way is to pull the mains cable out of the back of the printer!!This has happened a few times recently.
