My MX870 finally died after 20 years of service, and I'm looking for a replacement (Canon or otherwise). I got a Canon Pixma G7020, and it's awful. It's like something out of the 90's. ADF sounds like there's an angry hornet inside it, photo quality ...

My MX860 is going through color cartridges like crazy, even though I almost never print color. I replaced magenta about two months ago, and printed maybe 5 pages that had any color at all. Not photos, either. Anyone else seeing this? Any suggestions?
