I did, but the same result alas. Since my last post I also did get another "communication error" while printing after installing the Mojave driver, and the very bottom edge of the image I was printing came out smeared, so I don't think everything's q...
Just confirming this worked for me to print from Photoshop CC 2019 with a Pixma Pro-10 and the official Catalina release. Print Studio Pro does crash when launched from PS however.
