MG2520 is printing black boxes around images

Images that are surrounded by white space are printing with a black box around them. It is using up my black ink and ruining my print-outs. This is happening even when I try different files.

I'm using Mac OS 10.14.5 I am printing PDFs from the Preview app. Thanks!
