sd 940 camera

My camera a powershot sd940 is , is 28 months old.Starting today the buttons on the back of the camera stopped working.I can take pictures. Any suggestions would be appreicated.

Hi Mike: I did remove the battery the other day and did not fix my problem. I turn the camera on today and it was working.thank you
