1. Check that the angle of the flash head is not at it's maximum;2. Make sure that the white card and diffuser ar pushed all the way in.

I went through the same drill - came down to $3300 extra for 14 vs 6 fps. I bought the 5DIII.

I've started using MPIX and have been very happy with them. I use Artistic Photo Canvas for canvas prints.
