Will the C400's USB-C LCD monitor be compatible with the R5C?

Hey all,

Just learned that the C400's LCD monitor connects via USB-C. Given that the R5C uses the same Cinema OS as the C400 and other cams in the C-line - it seems like it wouldn't be much of a stretch for it to be compatible with the R5C. Canon has already set a compatibility precedent with its LM-V1 monitors that can be used with the C200, C300 MKII/MKII, etc. Being able to use tap focus on a monitor I could move/mount to my gimbal or elsewhere would be a gamechanger for R5C users - and a win/win for Canon.

Any thoughts on whether this seems plausible or what I might be missing would be appreciated!

Greetings,

My initial thoughts are no, due to power.

This is the cable it uses.
