Does Canon’s PL to RF adapter work with the C70?

Does the “Mount Adapter PL-RF” work with the Canon C70? I’m asking to see if the screws that lock in the PL mount are the same placement as the C80/C400? I don’t mind not having the metadata, I just want a secure PL mount.

Greetings ,

According to Canon Asia, the Canon adapter is not compatible with the C70 or the R5 C.

As far as physical compatibility that was not disclosed.  Support could be added via firmware but I would not count on it.  There are many third-party adapters which claim compatibility.

That's a good catch, thanks for sharing. I wonder if it's not compatible because of metadata? Can it still mount to a C70 and have a secure PL mount? This is the only PL adapter on the market for those cameras that has the 4 screws to secure the PL mount.
