Do you mean it’s not recharging fast enough?

What power level are you using on the flash? If using TTL/E-TTL, try to estimate the level.

The manual should reveal what the recycle time would be at different power levels.  But, the following are what you can do to reduce power which will also shorten the recycle time:

  1. Use higher ISOs.
  2. Use wider apertures.
  3. Gang up multiple speedlites together.  e.g. I used to gang up four 600 EX-RT speedlites.  When not needing their maximum output, I could run them all at 1/4 power.  That gave much faster recycle time as compared to a single unit at full power.

If you really need very fast recycle times along with high power, you'd need to look to studio strobes.
