Some EL-5 flashes may exhibit battery depletion when fully charged and turned off.
Not all units are affected.
Affected Product
Flash “SPEEDLITE EL-5” Units that exhibit number “0” in the fourth digit from the left of the serial number and that have had this issue confirmed are within the scope of the affected units.

Sent mine in a couple hours ago. Cost me $25 to ship it back. I feel like I got ripped off. I just bought it on the first and got it about a week ago.
