Does an ETTL splitter/cable exist that will allow me to control two different flash groups from my Canon 60D?

I've seen corded ETTL splitters before, but only through discussions in Strobist forums. There's no reason why it can't work, but I think that since wireless options are so cheap now the cord is drying up, and niche options like a double cord aren't big sellers. Alternately, you can get an ETTL cable with a passthrough on the camera end and you can stack two cables. But ETTL cables aren't cheap... I'd look to wireless. I like the Yongnuo 622 given the price, but not everybody is on board with them.

If you want two groups controlled then you will have trouble using cords e-ttl cords.
The camera only controls a master flash - in group A - and that flash sends commands to the others in other groups. I've used Syl Arena's long off camera cord and use it to put the master closer to the subject and also often closer to the slaves in other groups.
If you want to use Speedlites in manual mode not E-TTL then simple "dumb" cords should be available with a PC sync cord splitter to use two long cables from the camera.

I jokingly thought about using some sort of Fiber optic cable to trigger the flashes by taping one end of the cable to the flash's sensor and the other end to the popup flash on the camera. That would essentially be the same as using the wireless mode on the Camera, but I wouldn't need direct line of sight. The Canon Macro Twin Lite MT-24EX has the option to control both flashes separately, and it is wired. I just need a larger version of that.
However, after reading about the Yongnuo 622, I might have to give them a try. It’s a lot cheaper than buying a 600EX-RT and a Transmitter. I can just buy another 430EX II and a couple of Yongnuo 622 Transceivers.
