I have a Canon EOS R6 and a Canon EOS R5 C and I need an external flash. I recently bought a Canon Speedlight EL-5 but based on what I have read on here, it is not compatible with either camera. Forgive my ignorance, my primary focus is video, but want to start venturing into photography as well

You can use an EL-1, 600EX, 430EX, or any of the 3rd party made-for-Canon flashes.

THANK YOU! I went with the 430EX since they did not have the 600EX in stock at Best Buy
