Hello everyone,
I'm having trouble getting my new Canon Speedlite EL-5 to link with my ST-E10 transmitter of my R5 MarkII. I'm hoping someone can spot what I might be missing.
The Problem: I have the EL-5 set to radio receiver mode, but it will not establish a link with my sender. The "no connection" symbol (the crossed-out circle) remains on the flash's screen, and the LINK light stays off.
My Settings:
Sender (ST-E10): Channel 2, Wireless ID 1000
Receiver (Canon EL-5): Channel 2, Wireless ID 1000
As you can see from the photos, the settings appear to match perfectly, but the connection fails.
Troubleshooting Steps Taken:
Confirmed the EL-5 is in "Radio transmission wireless RECEIVER" mode.
Set the Channel to 2 and ID to 1000 on both the camera/sender and the EL-5 flash.
Double-checked the settings on both screens.
Tried clearing and re-configuring the wireless settings.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
