I have been told that horizons in the center of an image are boring, but I think you can add some foreground and some sky and get the worthy composition.

EOS R5, EF-S18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS II, focal length 20mm, shutter speed 1/800, aperture f/5.0, ISO 400

Nice shot, Brigham!  Your composition is great, with spray of the waves crashing on the rocks on both sides of the frame, the cloud formation overhead, and the mouth of the river leading to the ocean in the center.  Good job 👍
