These two young mallards were exploring their surroundings under mama's watchful gaze when I stumbled upon them. Fortunately, they weren't started, but mama wasn't too keen on having some strange hoomun with a long white tube sticking out of the box attached to his face that close, so they slowly made their way to the safety of the lake. And I thanked them for their time!
