Tricolored Heron

The Tricolored Heron is one of my favorites of the Heron family, I'm lucky to see one or two, but this morning I saw six of them and had a couple of them fly by.  I got my 200-500 about ten days ago and I'm still working on my autofocus settings, but I was pretty happy with many, including this one.

I can't wait to get my RF 200-800mm lens.  I ordered it on 9-18-24 so I'll be lucky if I get it by 12-18-24 (wishful thinking), but more likely it will be sometime in 2-18-25 or even maybe 4-18-24.     : (
