I could stand, sit, lie, or crawl around in one place to photograph the ocean for hours. In fact, I have! For this photo I was in fact lying on the rocks in front of these waves and yes, got wet. Loved every moment.

Sure, the spray looks cool but in photos like these, it's all the intricate formations in the whitecaps at the forefront that enthrall me. Great job freezing those!

I find it interesting that you are using a APS-C kit lens with an R5! That tends to reinforce the first line of my signature. You get excellent results, and the timing is great.
Do you have FF EF or RF glass?

Intrigued, I looked at the rest of your images (which are all great) and see you still shoot with the kit lenses from the 80D. I have one, with the EF-S 18-135 IS USM lens and still enjoy shooting with it. I also saw you have an EF 100-400. Any plans to get some RF glass?

Good morning,
Yes indeed...I have the following wish/purchase list put together:
RFS- 10-20mm F4 L
the RF 24-105 F4 L
and the RF 100-500 F4.5-7.1 L
I hope to have all RF lenses through next year.
Thank you for asking.
