I spend most of my time with action photography on the field like the first photo where the defender stretched fully and got fingertips on the runner's leg that was enough to send him out of bounds 5 frames later and prevented what would have been a long run for a TD. Or the second photo with the running back leaving a trail of destruction behind as he breaks tackles and the third "fun" photo of jersey #2 tackling jersey #2.
But a lot of the fun photos are captured on the sidelines including some before the game even starts like this one of the AD's youngest son toddling out to watch the snapper and QB in pregame warmup. Later a cheerleader's little brother joins big sis and her cheerleader friends on the track. The final photo is big D lineman #70 enjoying a much deserved rest as his coach congratulates him on another excellent series.
Captured with a pair of Canon 1DX III bodies equipped with EF 400 f2.8 and EF 70-200 f2.8 lenses with the help of some very talented athletes and fans!
