Smoke on the Water

I shot this very early in the morning and the rising sun was backlighting the trees.
There was a heavy fog coming off the water which disappeared just a few minutes after I took the shot.

My settings were:
monochrome
manual
1/1000 sec.
f8
iso 500
100 mm focal length
Photo is unedited and is as it was taken
